Cohorts

A cohort is stamped once, when someone enrols, and is locked by default. Unlock it to move anyone in or out; every change is recorded with who made it. One cohort per participant — for anything that overlaps, use a group below.

Groups

Labels you apply by hand — a participant can be in any number at once, and they can be renamed or deleted freely. Use these for subsets, samples, and anything that overlaps. They never affect trading, the leaderboard, or which rows an export contains; those follow the cohort.

Letters, numbers, hyphens and underscores only — a group name is exported as a column value. Put the readable version in the description.

Notices

Written by a person and delivered in the app — no email and no push notification, so a notice reaches only participants who open it. The counts below are what makes that honest: a notice shows how many people received it against how many actually read it.

Problem reports

Captured errors

Failures the server recorded on its own — an unhandled error on a route, or a background sweep that raised with nobody watching. Nothing here was reported by a participant.
